Fish & Chips (Cut & Run, #3) by Abigail Roux & Madeleine Urban

Special Agents Ty Grady and Zane Garrett are back on the job, settled into a personal and professional relationship built on fierce protectiveness and blistering passion.

Now they're assigned to impersonate two members of an international smuggling ring-an out-and-proud married couple-on a Christmas cruise in the Caribbean.

As their boss says, surely they'd rather kiss each other than be shot at, and he has no idea how right he is. Portraying the wealthy criminals requires a particular change in attitude from Ty and Zane while dealing with the frustrating waiting game of their assignment.

As it begins to affect how they treat each other in private, Ty and Zane realize there's more to being partners than watching each other's backs, and when the case takes an unexpected turn and threatens Ty's life, Ty and Zane will have to navigate seas of white lies and stormy secrets, including some of their own.

FINAL RATING: ★★★★★/★★★★★

That's it. This series is my official favorite ever! Each sequel gets better and better! I didn't like this book, i freaking LOVED IT!!!!

The whole experience was WEIRDLY AWESOME!!!!!!!!!

“It’s not very often I could say ‘you can have anything you want, baby’,” Zane practically purred. “But now is one of those times.”
Ty smiled serenely, trying to keep the hint of melancholy out of it. He knew Zane meant what he said.
“Only thing I want is you,” he whispered.

I loved the idea for this book, being under an undercover mission pretending to be a gay married couple was so much fun that i loled, and loled, and loled....without stopping. And it sure was awesome to read and see their reactions because of that. And all of the changes they had to go through...yummy ♥

Anyway, everything was just awesomely done. I loved how in this book we get to finally understand their feelings to each other. But neither of them knew whether it was the person they were acting to be, or other way around. And so, they confused each other, annoyed each other, scared each other to death, and loved each other more than anything else. Too bad that both of them are scared to admit it -.-

I freaking adore that guy. His new role suited him just fine and yet he didn't want to admit it at first :P But i loved it how he and Zane could just be someone else for a moment and forget everything and enjoy their time together....And Ty seemed to me tamer than he usually is...Which scared Zane and kind of scared me as well :D

His new role of possessive husband really fit him well. I didn't know whether to laugh or just be amazed because of him. I didn't approve some of his actions, but Ty beat some sense in him later ♥....

pure, pure, L-O-V-E!!!!!!!!

He sighed heavily and lifted his chin stubbornly, meeting Zane’s eyes without flinching. “I didn’t say it just to get you to jump. I’m in love with you, Zane,” he admitted in a calm, clear voice. “I have been for a while.”
Zane’s eyes widened, and the shock was clear in them. He didn’t try to hide it. That, at least, was telling of the trust they’d built between them. He didn’t hide his emotions from Ty much anymore. No more than Ty did from him. Zane’s lips parted like he was about to say something, but nothing came out as he tipped his head slightly to one side.
“You don’t have to say anything,” Ty said quickly. He’d known how Zane would respond, and he’d come to terms with it. He still didn’t want to hear the words, though. He couldn’t meet Zane’s eyes any longer, and he could feel his face warming. He looked down at his hand and turned it over. “I know you don’t….” He shook his head and glanced up at the stark white wall across the way from his cell, starting
over. “I know you care about me. That’s all I need. I just figured… we have enough secrets between us,” he continued as he looked back up at Zane and smiled nervously. “Now it’s just one less.”
The cascade of emotions across Zane’s face surprised him; Ty didn’t think he’d ever seen Zane look so startled. Zane’s fingers curled into the fencing, and he nodded just slightly. “One less,” he echoed softly, though his lips moved like he was starting to say something else and stopped. Then he restarted.
“Why tell me that way?”
Ty shrugged one sore shoulder. “Seemed like a good idea at the time,” he answered, embarrassed.
“I was pretty much blind, deaf, and scared out of my mind.” Zane admitted. “But I… heard you.”

WHEN TY DROWNED ZANE, trying to get him sober.... MWAHAHAHAHA..... he deserved it anyway :(

p.s. why do i imagine Zane as the guy above (because captain Hook from OuaT is ♥)
