Hello, hello :) Kristalia speaking! :D

Apart from being an extreme book addict, i am also an artist. So i have come with a decision to post my fanarts from the books that i have read and share them with you all, with some additional info as well :) 

 Today i will show you my version of Daniel "DAY" Altan Wing from LEGEND, by wonderful author Marie Lu. You can check out my review for Legend , and for Prodigy if you are interested. (p.s. Marie Lu is a wonderful and talented artist as well.)

I write young adult novels, and have a special love for dystopian books. Ironically, I was born in 1984. Before becoming a full-time writer, I was an Art Director at a video game company. Now I shuffle around at home and talk to myself a lot. :)

Day is described having a long blond hair and piercing blue eyes. I loved his character from the moment i first read about him: strong, cunning, adorable and amazing.

Sooooooooo.......i've been obessed with Legend books by Marie Lu and i decided to draw Day from it :D As far as i remember, he has blue eyes and long blond hair....And why does he have a red in his hair? Read and find out ^_^

anyway, took around 3-4 hours, used texture by AuroraWienhold [link] which are awesome and brushes from here [link]
everything else by me and i used some of the standard photoshop brushes.
used photoshop cs5/6 and tablet.

If you haven't read Legend series yet, read them, because they are worth it. And news of the upcoming movie make me shiver from excitement! I cannot wait to see the castings they will choose for both Day and June, and hopefully, they will make a good movie out of these books.
